Hi, I’m Rena.
I’m the heart and hands behind Balabusta LLC. As a proud Jewish woman and entrepreneur, I created Balabusta to bring more than just services into your home—I bring care, intention, and a personal touch to every space and every meal.
Through Mindful Maid Service, Plated by Rena, and in-home massage therapy, my mission is simple: to make life feel lighter, more manageable, and truly supportive.
I believe a well-kept home, nourishing food, and moments of self-care can transform your day—and I’m here to help you experience that.

My Story

Balabusta was born from the way I was raised and the experiences that shaped me. Growing up in a Jewish home, food, hospitality, tradition, and caring for others were woven into everyday life. The kitchen was where people gathered, Shabbat and holidays came alive, and love was often expressed through a home-cooked meal.
Much of my career has been spent working in kosher restaurants and kitchens, including learning under two private Israeli chefs. Those experiences deepened my love for Israeli and Mediterranean cooking and taught me the beauty of creating food that is comforting, nourishing, and made with intention.
My journey also took me to Israel, where I studied Chinese medicine and developed a deeper appreciation for the connection between our bodies, our homes, nourishment, and overall well-being.
That philosophy became Balabusta LLC. To me, a balabusta is resourceful, nurturing, capable, and intentional—someone who makes a house feel like a home. Through Mindful Maid Service, Plated by Rena, and wellness-focused bodywork, I’ve brought those pieces of my life together with one purpose: to help people feel cared for in their homes, bodies, and everyday lives.
